First Look at the unAmazing Spider-Man

Possibly spurred on by the poor quality leaked versions that got out Sony has released a nice shiny HD teaser trailer and Friday will no doubt usher in more bootleg footage courtesy of the Comic Con panel. But seriously, the fizzle of a finale that was Spider-Man 3 was only four years ago! How many times can the same story be rehashed? Thanks to greedy studios and American audiences happy to remain in their comfort zone with stories they already know the ending to I have no doubt that this next decade of film will see many more incarnations of the same tired characters. Plus, I thought that CGI was supposed to be getting better with each year, so why does the Spidey through the city sequence look like something render on a PS2? Even if this is the best Spider-Man movie ever (not holding my breath) its still too soon, give me some time to forget the Raimi versions here people. I have a feeling what we have here is another Incredible Hulk being shoved down our throats. But I might be in the minority if Google trends is any indicator this unnecessary remake is garnering a lot of hype.
